This is a public informational website. It does not provide user accounts, online case intake, payment processing, or web forms. The site does not currently use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, embedded social-media tools, or third-party web fonts, and it does not intentionally set browser cookies.
The hosting provider and network services may create ordinary technical logs, such as an Internet Protocol address, browser type, requested page, referring page, date and time, and security events. Those services control their own operational systems and policies.
Email and Sensitive Information
Do not email Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's-license numbers, medical records, completed diversion forms, victim-impact material, information identifying a minor, or other sensitive records unless office staff have provided an approved method. Messages and records received by a public office may be retained or disclosed as required or permitted by applicable law; do not assume that a message can be kept confidential.
External Links
This site links to courts, state agencies, service providers, and other outside organizations for convenience. Those organizations control their content, availability, security, accessibility, and privacy practices. A link does not guarantee eligibility, services, or endorsement.
Accessibility
The office aims to make this site usable by people with disabilities and uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, Level AA, as a design target. The site includes keyboard-visible focus, a skip link, semantic headings and landmarks, text alternatives for meaningful images, responsive layouts, and reduced-motion support.
If any page, link, document, or feature is difficult to use, contact the office and identify the page and the accommodation or alternate format needed. We will make a reasonable effort to provide the information through an accessible method.
Corrections
To report an outdated link, factual error, accessibility problem, or suspected security issue, call (620) 304-3020 ext. 6 or email info@cherokeecountyattorney.com. Do not include sensitive case information in the initial email.
